Near & Dear to my Heart

Tomorrow, December 6th at 7pm is the Candlelight Memorial service in the lobby of Altru hospital.  This memorial service is dedicated to all babies who have died before or shortly after birth or in early childhood.  During this service, parents & family members will decorate the Christmas tree with ornaments with the names of these precious children.

To have an ornament inscribed with your child's name, please contact Pastoral Services at 701-780-5300 or email shalstenson@altru.org with your child's name (if you did not name your child you can use "baby" and your last name) plus your name, address, & telephone number.  There is NO charge to you for the ornaments.

In the book the Christmas Box, the author invites loves ones to bring white flowers to lay at the base of the Angel statue.   If you would like to do this, time will be provided at the beginning of the service.

This is a wonderful way to honor our children who are not physically here with us today.
